Our journey began in 2004 when second-generation contractor Chris Youngs and his wife Michelle started our business from the basement of their home. Chris grew up on job sites with his dad, learning the craft and the importance of being a responsible business owner. Our name, BMR, reflects our values: B for our oldest daughter Brittany, M for our wife Michelle, and R for our youngest daughter Regan. In 2005, Chris received a call from family members in Mississippi to help after Hurricane Katrina. He made a significant impact by assisting in the repair and rebuilding of homes along the coast. Upon returning to Birmingham, Chris worked tirelessly to build a local team he could be proud of.
